The V2000-c does not support over-the-air or user-applied firmware updates. The firmware is factory-burned. If you experience glitches (random beeping, LED freezing), perform a factory reset. If persists, replace the mainboard – these units are cost-effective to replace. Press and hold the Reset button (or bridge the jumper pins)

Power off the device. Press and hold the # key (or the reset button inside the housing) while powering back on. The device will beep, and the Master Code will revert to the factory default.
