Bellick's storyline took a dramatic turn when he was seemingly killed by the notorious prisoner, T-Bag (played by Robert Knepber). However, in a shocking twist, it was revealed that Bellick had actually faked his own death and was still very much alive.
The following episode, Season 4, Episode 10 "The Legend," deals with the group's reaction to his death and shows his funeral. His body is placed in a coffin, honored by the crew he once antagonized.
