After an impressive performance where Bartok "defeats" a bear—actually Zozi in a costume—the young Prince Ivan Romanov is so delighted that he gifts the bat a royal ring, much to the dismay of his devious advisor, Ludmilla. The story kicks into gear when the prince is apparently kidnapped by the dreaded witch, Baba Yaga. To save the throne, Bartok is reluctantly sent on a mission into the treacherous Iron Forest, accompanied by his partner Zozi. However, Bartok soon finds he must complete three impossible challenges to rescue the prince, all while discovering that the true villain might be much closer to home.
